FAQ — AAA Mover Pros
FAQFrequently Asked Questions
Here are the questions Jupiter and Palm Beach County families ask us most, from pricing and deposits to gate paperwork, long-distance routes, and how we handle moves during hurricane season. If yours is not covered, call (888) 711-4778 and we will answer it straight.
❓ Are you a moving company?
☛ Yes — AAA Mover Pros is a fully licensed and insured local moving company based in Jupiter, FL. We run our own trucks and uniformed crews on every job, with Florida (FDACS) IM# and USDOT/MC authority on file. We do not subcontract your move to anyone else; the trucks and the people are ours.
❓ How does your pricing work?
☛ We quote a flat rate in writing. After we go over what you are moving and the access at both addresses, we put a firm price on paper, and that price is what you pay on moving day. There are no hourly surprises and no fuel or stair fees added to the final invoice.
❓ Do you require a deposit?
☛ No deposit is needed to get your written quote, and we send that estimate back to you usually within one business hour. To hold a date on the calendar we take a small booking deposit, which is credited toward your total. During busy snowbird season we recommend reserving your date early.
❓ Are you licensed and insured?
☛ We are licensed, bonded, and insured. We carry Florida FDACS intrastate mover registration (IM#) for moves within the state and USDOT/MC interstate authority for moves across state lines. Every job is backed by $1M in cargo coverage. We are glad to provide our license numbers and a certificate of insurance on request.
❓ How far in advance should I book?
☛ For local moves, a week or two of lead time is usually plenty. For long-distance routes and for the October and April snowbird rush, book two to four weeks out if you can. We do our best to fit in last-minute moves, so call us either way and we will tell you honestly what is open.
❓ Can you handle gated and waterfront community access?
☛ Yes, and this is one reason locals call us. Communities like Admirals Cove, Jonathan's Landing, Frenchman's Reserve, and the Abacoa associations require a certificate of insurance and a crew gate list before a truck is allowed in. We prepare and submit that COI and gate-list paperwork for you ahead of move day, so the truck rolls through the gate without a holdup.
❓ What is included in a move?
☛ Your flat rate covers the truck, the fuel, and our uniformed crew, plus standard furniture disassembly and reassembly, pads and shrink wrap for protection, and loading and unloading at both ends. Packing services and packing materials are available and quoted separately if you want them. Everything is spelled out on your written estimate.
❓ What is your cancellation policy?
☛ If your plans change, let us know as early as you can and we will reschedule or cancel. Cancel or reschedule at least 72 hours before your move date and your booking deposit is fully refundable. Inside 72 hours we keep the deposit to cover the held crew and truck, but we will always work with you on a new date when life gets in the way.
❓ Do you do long-distance moves out of Jupiter?
☛ Yes. We run long-distance routes from Jupiter to Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, and New York, and other destinations on request. These moves go on the same flat-rate written quote with our USDOT/MC interstate authority, and your belongings stay on our truck with our crew rather than being transferred to a stranger's load.
❓ Do you offer storage?
☛ If there is a gap between your move-out and move-in dates, which happens often with snowbird and closing-date timing, we can arrange short-term storage so your belongings stay handled by one company. Tell us the dates when you call and we will price the storage piece into your written estimate.
❓ What happens if something is damaged?
☛ We pad and wrap to prevent it, but if an item is damaged we make it right. Every move carries valuation coverage, with $1M in cargo coverage behind our trucks, and you can file a claim directly with our office. Carla handles claims personally and we resolve them quickly rather than sending you in circles.
❓ Can you time a snowbird or seasonal move to my schedule?
☛ That is a big part of what we do. Many Palm Beach County neighbors split the year between Florida and up north, so we plan moves around flights, closing dates, and narrow seasonal windows in fall and spring. Give us your travel dates and we build the schedule around them.
❓ What do you do if a hurricane is in the forecast?
☛ Safety comes first during hurricane season. If a storm is tracking toward the Treasure Coast or Palm Beaches around your move date, we monitor the forecast and reschedule at no penalty to keep your belongings and our crew out of harm's way. We will reach out proactively if we see weather building toward your date.
