Piano Movers in Jupiter & Palm Beach County | AAA Mover Pros

WOW!

Piano Moving Done Right

A piano isn’t furniture. It’s heavy, top-balanced, and unforgiving of a slip on a tile floor or a porch step. We move uprights, baby grands, and full grands with the boards, straps, and weight-rated dollies the job actually requires, not a couple of guys and a furniture hand truck. The wrong approach cracks a leg or gouges your hardwood, and in a waterfront home that’s an expensive afternoon.

See why Palm Beach County families choose movers in Jupiter for an honest, flat-rate move.

What’s included

  • Piano boards, straps, skids, and a weight-rated dolly
  • A crew trained to balance and pivot the instrument
  • Climate cover and padding against Florida humidity
  • Leg and pedal-lyre removal and reassembly on grands
  • Stair, threshold, and tight-doorway navigation

How the move goes

We measure the path from the room to the truck, pad the instrument, and board it. Uprights get strapped to the board and tipped carefully onto the dolly. Grands get the legs and pedal lyre removed and the body strapped to a skid on its side. The crew controls every pivot through doorways and onto the lift gate, then reverses the whole process at the new home and reassembles the instrument where you want it to live.

What’s not included

We move the piano; we don’t tune it. After a relocation a piano needs a few weeks to settle to the new room’s humidity and then a tuning by a technician, which we’ll happily recommend. We also don’t repair pre-existing finish damage or replace worn casters.

Price guidance

Upright pianos run $265 to $415, baby grands $385 to $565, and full grands $535 to $885, set in writing based on stairs, access, and distance before the crew arrives.

❓ GOT QUESTIONS? ❓

Q: What does it cost to move a piano?

A: Uprights run $265 to $415, baby grands $385 to $565, and full grands $535 to $885, depending on stairs, access, and distance. We confirm the flat figure in writing before the move.

Q: How do you protect the piano from humidity?

A: We pad and use a climate cover during transport so the finish and soundboard aren't exposed to Florida's heat and moisture on the truck or at the curb.

Q: Do you take grand pianos apart to move them?

A: Yes. On grands we remove the legs and pedal lyre, board and strap the body, then reassemble at the destination. It's the safe way through doorways and onto the truck.

Q: Can you handle stairs and tight entries?

A: We do, with the right number of movers and the proper boards and dollies. Tell us about steps or narrow doors in your Jupiter or Tequesta home and we plan the crew size for it.
